My Bead Box...

Happy Wednesday!!
On Monday I was walking through QD and came across this box...

As soon as I spotted it I thought I know what I can use this for, all my pretty beads... So I decorated the box with some special paper, can't think what it's called now, but I got it from Hobby Craft. This is the end result...

What do you think?
This box cost me £1.99 and the paper was roughly £1.00 as I have paper left over. Altogether £2.99. I'm really pleased with that!

I have also been busy making hair clips. I think I'm going to give these to the little girls in the family for Christmas, just as a little extra present.

What do you think? My Mum has suggested working on how I present them, she thinks the writing is too big, so I'm going to have another play before making it final. Let me know if you can suggest how to make these pretty hair clips look even more special...

Boat Trip...

Today we went on a boat trip, we got to take charge of our own little boat. It was great fun and the weather was perfect for it. I did have a little giggle to myself when the Mr flapped his arms when a wasp came near him and he let go of the wheel. Thank goodness there was no where to crash into except reeds. Here are some photos that made me smile....
This beautiful house it situated right near the river. What a beautiful view they get every morning.
I also have been sitting in my garden today doing some knitting. The blanket is coming on very slowly.

Hope you have all had an amazing weekend!

Hello Saturday!

I love love love Saturdays, it is my favorite day of the week. Wake up naturally and not by an alarm! Last night me and my Mr stayed over my parents house. Dad cooked a lovely BBQ which was delicious and we had a few drinks too.
Today we went to Tesco and popped into Poundland. WOW...we were amazed how much Tesco ripped us off compared to the things we could have got in Poundland for just £1. Lesson learned. I did pick up this cute little Gnome...
My friend came round yesterday and brought me some jars, her Mum had been collecting them for me. I want to use them but lacking inspiration. Have you any ideas for me?

I think I would like to use some of them as a candle center piece for Christmas. With some sort of orange and cinammon scent. Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas? :o)
It'll be the Mr and I's first Christmas in our new home and we are having our parents round for Christmas dinner. I want to make my own crackers and umbrella's for drinks etc. I haven't thought too much about it...honest!

I hope you are all having a fabulous sunny weekend! Until next time folks!

Healthy Lifestyle...

Good Morning bloggers!
I got a little bit distracted last night watching Big Brother and cooking tea. So I decided this morning would be a great way to start a fabulous Thursday off. I'm starting my Thursday off with my list of reasons why I want to lose weight...

1. To feel comfortablt in my clothes. I have some denim shorts I really want to wear again.

2. To wear pretty dresses.

3. To be a smaller size. I am currently a size 16 and would like to be a curvy 12.

4. To feel happy.

5. To have a healthier lifestyle. I wouldn't say I am really unhealthy but the odd bag of crisps and chocolate do creep in.

This photo is now currently my wallpaper on my Iphone to help remind me...

I'm going to look for some pretty dresses tonight and then upload them to my blog.

How are you starting your Thursday off? I would love to know.

Secret Garden!

Good Afternoon all!
I have been admiring my Mumsy's garden this afternoon...A little bit of sunshine and all the flowers have grown. They look so beautiful. My mum's garden is quite deceiving, when you stand outside the patio doors she has a lovely little porch area and a summer house which has a hot tub in. Then when you go around the corner this is the image you see...I love it, its like a little secret garden at the bottom...

I love all the pots my mum has in her garden too. Some are filled with beautiful flowers but some are empty and they still look amazing. I wish I had green fingers...I want to decorate some pots for my garden. I quite like these ones...

I think I could manage them, they don't look too hard. Just need payday to hurry up so I can buy some more things :o)

I'm off to make a list of something that needs taking control of! Any guesses to what it could be?
See you later...

My Crafty Place...

As you know I am beginner to the art and craft world and this is what my crafty place looks like...

Now I know what you're thinking...that doesn't really count as a crafty place. Unfortunately I don't have a craft room, I have to sit at the dining room table to do my pretty things. I hope one day to have a room like this...

I got this picture off Pinterest and I'm really not familiar with copyright so here is a link to this lovely blog...Poppies and Sunshine
Isn't it soooooo pretty I love the beautiful colours on the chair.

Unfortunately I don't think I will ever have a craft room (unless I win the lottery) but I would be happy if one day my crafty place looks like this...

It looks like it is a wardrobe but inside is the magical sight of CRAFT! I love this idea!

What did you all start with? Did you start with a shoe box like me? I can't wait for my craft stuff to grow and grow :o)

Hope you have all had a good day...

VW White Noise Festival...

Happy Monday/August all!
I can't believe how fast this year is going, a week in to August already! I've had a fantastic weekend at White Noise. For those who don't know it is a massive festival for VW lovers. My Mum and Dad have got a camper van called Bernadette...

Doesn't she look amazing? She took them a long time to do as there was a lot of work that needed to be done. I didn't get to sleep in her this time, I slept in a tent.
It was my sister-in-laws birthday whilst we were camping so Mum and I got up at 5 and decorated the tents with balloons and banners.
I made this glass as a present for Rhiannon's Birthday. I used glass paint pens for the writing. I really found this bit hard because when I took the pen off I was always left with a little darker dot, like on the top of the o. I was pleased with end result though. I added extra bits too to make it even more special. Have you got any tips for me when it comes to glass painting?

Hope you all have a lovely week...I'm now going to catch up on some lovely blogs. If you want me to have a look at your blog please leave your link in the comments box. I'm always looking out for more pretty inspiring blogs to follow :o)
